Some ordinary good things

I am posting two pictures today. The first is the desk that I work at, with afternoon sunlight streaming in through the large window.

The second is a view from the steps that lead up to the Sala Borsa Library entrance in Piazza Maggiore. Bologna is a city full of interesting things to look at. This is just a sample.
